Return & Refund Policy

Cayops.com is a marketplace platform that connects buyers with local vendors. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
Electronics and Physical Goods
- Items may be returned within 48 hours of delivery if they arrive damaged, defective, or are not as described in the product listing.
- To initiate a return, the customer must contact us within 24 hours of receiving the item via WhatsApp on +234 800 000 0000 or email at
support@cayops.com. The message must include clear photographs of the item and the issue. - Returns must be taken back to the vendor's physical store address, which will be provided by Cayops.com upon approval of the return request.
- The cost of returning the item is borne by the customer, except where the item arrived damaged due to a delivery error — in which case Cayops.com will arrange and cover the return delivery.
- Refunds for approved returns will be processed within 3 to 5 business days after the vendor has inspected and accepted the returned item.
- Refunds are issued to the same payment method used at checkout. For Pay on Delivery orders, refunds are issued via bank transfer.
- No returns will be accepted for items that show signs of use, tampering, physical damage caused by the customer, or items returned without prior approval from Cayops.com.
Perishable Goods and Food Items
- Perishable items including fresh produce, cooked food, pepper, palm oil, groundnut oil, sachet water, and similar products are non-returnable once delivered.
- If the wrong item was delivered, the customer must report this within 2 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. Cayops.com will arrange a replacement at no additional cost.
- If items are delivered in clearly spoiled or unusable condition, report within 2 hours and we will investigate with the vendor and arrange a resolution.
Fashion, Fabric, and Made-to-Order Items
- Ready-made fashion items may be returned within 48 hours if they are unworn and in original condition with tags attached.
- Custom-made or made-to-order items — including Adire, Aso Oke, and embroidered garments — are non-returnable unless they arrive with a defect caused by the vendor.
Services
- Services booked through Cayops.com (cleaning, plumbing, automobile repair, etc.) are non-refundable once the service has commenced.
- If a service provider does not show up after confirmed booking, a full refund will be processed.
